📌 Quick answer: Champions League matchday 4 is on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 November 2026. Europe’s clocks went back on 25 October, so kick-offs are now an hour later in Nigeria: two early games at 6:45pm each night and the other seven at 9pm. Tuesday’s headline game is Atlético Madrid vs Bayern Munich, with Ademola Lookman in Atlético’s squad, plus Barcelona vs Aston Villa, who have won all three games. Victor Osimhen’s Galatasaray host Stuttgart at 6:45pm on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Liverpool go to Fenerbahçe and Arsenal visit Slavia Praha. In Nigeria, the games are on SuperSport.
Three games into the 2026/27 league phase, five clubs still have a perfect record: Paris Saint-Germain, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Real Madrid and, more surprisingly, Real Betis. Three have no points at all, including Porto. Matchday 4 is the halfway point, and several of this week’s games are between clubs fighting for the top eight, the places that go straight into the round of 16.

Super Eagles Players in Action
- Ademola Lookman (Atlético Madrid) vs Bayern Munich, Tuesday 9pm: Atlético have four points after a 1-1 draw in Stuttgart. A home win over Bayern would put them right in the race for the top eight.
- Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray) vs Stuttgart, Tuesday 6:45pm: Galatasaray got off the mark with a 4-2 win at Lille in matchday 3. Stuttgart are unbeaten on seven points and have conceded only twice, so this is a tough home game.
- Moses Usor (LASK) vs Slovan Bratislava, Tuesday 9pm: LASK picked up their first win in style, 3-2 away at Sporting CP. Slovan have lost all three games and conceded 13 goals, which makes this LASK’s best chance yet to add three more points.
- Zaidu Sanusi (Porto) vs Napoli, Wednesday 9pm: Porto have lost all three games and scored only twice. Without a home win against Napoli, they will be close to elimination with four games left.
Starting line-ups are confirmed about an hour before kick-off, so check team news on match day before you plan your evening around a particular player.
The Big Games
Atlético Madrid vs Bayern Munich (Tuesday, 9pm)
Bayern are unbeaten but have drawn their last two games: 3-3 in Norway against Viking and 2-2 at home to Arsenal. Their attack has scored ten goals in three matches. Atlético lost narrowly at Anfield, beat Manchester United 2-0 and drew in Stuttgart, conceding only three goals in total. Defence against attack at the Metropolitano, with Lookman likely to be one of Atlético’s outlets on the break.
Barcelona vs Aston Villa (Tuesday, 9pm)
Aston Villa are one of the stories of the season: three wins, 12 goals scored, three conceded, including a 6-0 win over Fenerbahçe. Barcelona scored nine goals in their first two games but lost 4-2 in Paris last time. A win would lift Barcelona level with Villa on nine points; a Villa win would put them on 12 and almost guarantee a top-eight finish.
Villarreal vs Paris Saint-Germain (Tuesday, 9pm)
PSG are top of the table with 14 goals in three games, including wins over Manchester City and Barcelona. Villarreal have scored eight goals but conceded eight too, and they lost 4-3 at Liverpool in a thriller last time. On recent form, expect goals at both ends.
Manchester United vs Roma (Tuesday, 9pm)
United have lost their last two games, 2-0 in Madrid and 4-1 at Como, and sit on three points. Roma have four after hammering Slovan Bratislava 4-0. United are around the line between the play-off places and elimination, so Old Trafford needs a win.
RB Leipzig vs Manchester City (Wednesday, 9pm)
City recovered from their home defeat to PSG by beating AEK Athens 5-1. Leipzig have lost two of three games, both by 4-1 scorelines. City will expect to win in Germany and move to nine points.
Fenerbahçe vs Liverpool (Wednesday, 6:45pm)
Liverpool have won all three games, but they have conceded seven goals along the way, including three against both LASK and Villarreal. Fenerbahçe are still looking for a win after draws with Roma and Slavia Praha and a 6-0 defeat at Aston Villa. The early kick-off makes this an easy one to catch after work.
Slavia Praha vs Arsenal (Wednesday, 9pm)
Arsenal kept clean sheets in their first two games and drew 2-2 in Munich. Slavia have one point from three matches. Anything other than an Arsenal win would be a big surprise.
AEK Athens vs Real Madrid (Wednesday, 6:45pm)
Real Madrid have won all three games, scoring ten. AEK beat LASK on the opening night but have lost both games since, conceding five at Manchester City.
Three More Games That Matter
Borussia Dortmund vs Real Betis (Wednesday, 9pm)
Betis are the surprise package: three wins from three, 3-2 at Lille, 3-2 at home to Porto and 1-0 against Feyenoord. They have done it with narrow margins, scoring seven and conceding four. Dortmund have six points after a 2-1 win away at Sabah, and a home win would take them level with Betis.
Feyenoord vs Inter (Tuesday, 9pm)
Inter lost their first two games, 2-1 in Madrid and 4-3 at home to Club Brugge, before beating Shakhtar 1-0. Feyenoord also have three points. Whoever loses drops towards the bottom twelve, the places that mean elimination.
Porto vs Napoli (Wednesday, 9pm)
Porto are one of three clubs without a point. Napoli have three after an extraordinary 4-3 win over Bodø/Glimt. Both clubs need the points, which should make it an open game.

How the League Phase Works
- 36 clubs, one table. Each team plays eight different opponents, four at home and four away. A win is three points and a draw one.
- Top eight go straight into the round of 16.
- 9th to 24th play two-legged knockout play-offs for the remaining eight places in the last 16.
- 25th to 36th are eliminated, with no drop into the Europa League.
In 2024/25, the first season of this format, the club in eighth place finished on 16 points and the club in 24th on 11, but every season is different. After this week, each club will have four games left.

How to Watch in Nigeria
UEFA lists SuperSport as its Champions League broadcast partner in Nigeria. The matches are shown on SuperSport channels on DStv, but not every package carries every game, so check the SuperSport schedule for the channel and make sure your package includes it before kick-off. For package prices, see our DStv subscription guide.
Avoid illegal streaming sites: they often carry malware and fake login pages that steal bank details. If you watch at a viewing centre, keep your phone and wallet close, because big European nights draw crowds. And remember that the Premier League is back at the weekend; our weekly guide has the kick-off times in Nigerian time.
