Super Eagles Players in Action
- Ademola Lookman (Atlético Madrid) at Stuttgart, Tuesday 8pm: Atlético bounced back from their opening defeat at Liverpool by beating Manchester United 2-0. Stuttgart have won both their games without much trouble, so this is a real test for Lookman and Diego Simeone’s side.
- Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray) at Lille, Wednesday 5:45pm: Osimhen played in the 4-1 home defeat to Barcelona. Galatasaray and Lille are both on zero points after two games, so the loser of this one will be in serious trouble before November.
- Moses Usor (LASK) at Sporting CP, Wednesday 8pm: LASK scored three times against Liverpool but conceded six, and are still looking for their first point. Sporting have won both of their games.
- Zaidu Sanusi (Porto) vs PSV, Tuesday 8pm: the left-back was still working his way back to fitness last week. Porto have lost both games and badly need a home win.
Starting line-ups are confirmed about an hour before kick-off, so check team news on match day before you plan your evening around a particular player.
The Big Games
Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona (Tuesday, 8pm)
The game of the week. PSG have scored ten goals in two matches, beating Slovan Bratislava 6-1 and then winning 4-2 at Manchester City. Barcelona have scored nine, beating Feyenoord 5-1 and Galatasaray 4-1 in Istanbul. Both sides attack in numbers, so goals are likely at the Parc des Princes, and the winner will be in a strong position for a top-eight finish and a place straight in the round of 16.
Bayern Munich vs Arsenal (Wednesday, 8pm)
Arsenal are the only team in the competition yet to concede: they won 1-0 in Naples and 3-0 at home to Lille. Bayern thrashed Bodø/Glimt 5-0 on the opening night but were held 3-3 in Norway by Viking last week. The Allianz Arena is the toughest away trip Arsenal will face in the league phase.
Stuttgart vs Atlético Madrid (Tuesday, 8pm)
Stuttgart have quietly become one of the stories of the season so far: six points, six goals scored and only one conceded. Atlético arrive with three points and Lookman in their attack, which makes this the pick of the games for Nigerian viewers on Tuesday night.
Liverpool vs Villarreal (Tuesday, 8pm)
Liverpool beat Atlético 2-1 at Anfield and then won a wild game 6-3 in Linz. Villarreal lost their opener in Dortmund but beat Napoli 3-1 last week, so they will not be pushovers.
Como vs Manchester United (Wednesday, 5:45pm)
Both teams have three points. Como announced themselves with a 4-1 win over RB Leipzig in their first Champions League game but lost 3-2 in Rotterdam last week. United beat Sabah 4-0 and then lost 2-0 in Madrid. The early kick-off makes it easy to watch after work.
Real Madrid vs RB Leipzig (Wednesday, 8pm)
Real Madrid have won both games by a single goal, 2-1 against Inter and 4-3 in Rome. Leipzig lost 4-1 at Como before beating PSV 1-0.
Where Things Stand After Two Games
Nine clubs have won both of their matches. Eight are still looking for their first point, including Inter, Napoli and Porto.

How the League Phase Works
- 36 clubs, one table. Each team plays eight different opponents, four at home and four away. A win is three points and a draw one.
- Top eight go straight into the round of 16.
- 9th to 24th play two-legged knockout play-offs for the remaining eight places in the last 16.
- 25th to 36th are eliminated, with no drop into the Europa League.
With six games left after this week, nobody is safe or out yet, but the clubs on zero points need results now.

How to Watch in Nigeria
UEFA lists SuperSport as its Champions League broadcast partner in Nigeria. The matches are shown on SuperSport channels on DStv, but not every package carries every game, so check the SuperSport schedule for the channel and make sure your package includes it before kick-off. For package prices, see our DStv subscription guide.
Avoid illegal streaming sites: they often carry malware and fake login pages that steal bank details. If you watch at a viewing centre, keep your phone and wallet close, because big European nights draw crowds.
