First-time NIN enrolment and your first NIN slip are free. Pay modification fees only through NIMC's official channels.

Register for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). You need a NIN and a JAMB profile code first.

- Get your profile code: text your NIN to 55019 or 66019 from your own line
- Buy the e-PIN from JAMB's approved channels

- Print your registration slip and check your exam date
For 2026 admissions, the national minimum UTME score was 150 for universities and nursing colleges and 100 for polytechnics. Each school sets its own cut-off at or above that.
