Chioma Akpotha plays Philo, a no-nonsense wife whose world is threatened by Cecilia (Omoni Oboli, at full comedic power), a Lagos woman who returned from London with a borrowed accent and borrowed manners. Oboli’s inconsistent, aspirational fake British accent is a comic creation of sustained genius.
