Years after restoring an uneasy peace to Ajeromi, the dreadful king of thieves returns to a kingdom rotting from within. Greed, betrayal and a broken ancient seal unleash forces no oba can contain, and Femi Adebayo slips back into Agesinkole like the role never left him.
The Yoruba epic machinery is in full flight here: incantations that feel genuinely dangerous, battle sequences staged with real scale, and a supporting bench of Odunlade Adekola and Ibrahim Chatta chewing through every scene. The VFX still wobbles in places, but the mythology is so confident it barely matters.
Verdict: A worthy return for Nollywood’s most feared thief. Stream it before everyone spoils the ending.
